Deer Survey Public Sessions Autumn 2017
These are organised by SYBRG with support of the British Ecological Society. Led by Andy Alder, Ian Rotherham and Joe Worden
These are FREE to attend but please book as group size is limited to 15.
Walk 1: Chatsworth - Easy walking and an introduction to deer behaviour
Walk 2: Little Barbrook. This walk is linked to the Eco-science day SYBRG is organising at the Longshaw Discovery Centre. See Eco-science in the Park: Shadow Woods & Ghosts on Peatland Landscapes (Longshaw Discovery Centre) page for information.
Walk 3: White Edge. Meet at the Grouse Public house car park. A more strenuous walk over rougher ground to hopefully see Red Deer rutting.
