The April 2016 edition of Pulse, the magazine for north Sheffield runs an article featuring the two-year Ecclesfield Civil Parish Past and Present Archiving Project. The HLF-funded project, due to come to a finish at the end of 2016, has been co-ordinated by Christine Handley, supervising a team of dedicated local volunteers whose task has been to collect together the hundreds of disparate items relating to the history of the area which encompasses the districts of Burncross, Chapeltown, High Green and most of Ecclesfield. The funding has resulted in this material being digitised and much of it will be presented on-line as an educational and research resource for all ages.
